‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Title Refers To Both Rey & Kylo Ren

First OrderWe are only just mere weeks away from another chapter in the Star Wars saga, however actor Adam Driver who plays Kylo Ren revealed that the title ‘The Force Awakens’ not only refers to Rey, but to Kylo Ren as well.

Since hearing Supreme Leader Snoke speak of an awakening in the force during the first teaser trailer for ‘The Force Awakens’, it has been speculated by fans that the title to the film is referencing Rey realizing that she can use the force. However, Adam Driver revealed to Empire that the title also relates to Kylo as well.

“We find Darth Vader already completely committed; I was curious about starting with someone who was less together, who was starting in a place of self-doubt. The title of The Force Awakens wasn’t just referring to the light side, it was the dark side as well.”

During the final moments of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ we see Rey and Kylo fight on Starkiller base and it seems there’s a reflection between the light, and the dark side. It’s possible we will this further explored in ‘The Last Jedi’, as it seems there’s a connection between the two characters.

What do you think the future hold for Rey and Kylo Ren?
